Q1: Yes, new system allows you to race up to six cars on a two lane circuit.

Q2: You can have more than 1 car in the same lane?
A2: Yes, this means that there may be six cars in one lane!

Q3: How do cars overtake then?
A3: By using the lane change track pieces and pressing a button on the handcontroller to instruct the car to change lane. Then you can overtake!

Q4: Can I use my older SCALEXTRIC set with SCALEXTRIC DIGITAL?
A4: Yes, you simply add the old track (all track is compatible) to the SCALEXTRIC DIGITAL circuit. (Do not use the old power base).

Q5: Will the standard cars work on SCALEXTIC DIGITAL.
A5: Yes, once they are converted to digital use by installing a DIGITIAL CHIP in to the car.

Continuing with the feature of being able to race up to 6 cars on a track this new powerbase, available separately, has a clearer screen interface than its predecessor.

The user interface benefits from a dual layer - a BASIC MODE for using just the normal race modes without any distractions and an ADVANCED MODE for the competitive racer who want to get more out of the race experience.

The Skill Level option allows you to set maximum power levels to individual cars so that 'novice vsersus expert' races can be run more fairly.

A new neat way of setting the car ID is now part of the new package with a simple one button press to program the ID to the car. Easy!

Power is upgraded to 15v for better car performance.

Analogue or DIGITAL power modes are a great new feature to enable this new powerbase to be used with standard SCALEXTRIC 2-lane circuits (for 2 cars only) or SCALEXTRIC DIGITAL circuits. The race modes can be used in either power configuration.

- Pits open randomly for five seconds only.
- Enter the Pits when open to extinguish one Pit Stop light.
- Enter the Pits when closed and receive an extra Pit Stop penalty!
