History
The racing version of the Seat Leon is built at SEAT Sport’s facility in Martorell, Spain, and is one of the most advanced vehicles the division has produced to date. It is based on the 185 PS 2.0 TFSI road-going model and is tuned to produce around 280 PS.
The Scalextric model
Based on the 2006 BTCC race winning car. Driven by James Thompson, one of the UKs best and most popular drivers, this car was chosen for the SCALEXTRIC range following his successes at the Croft race circuit where he finsished 2nd in the first race, 5th in the second race and completed a magnificent day for the team by winning the third and final race at his home circuit, giving him an impressive 33rd BTCC race win.
