History
Driven by Dick Brooks-Hutcherson in the 1976 Winston Cup race, finishing 7th at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. Other drivers in this race from the mid seventies included Richard Petty (2nd), Cale Yarborough (3rd) together with some other drivers yet to have their day in the forms of Dale Earnhardt, Darrell Waltrip to name but a few.
In the same year Brooks competed at Le Mans with the same car in the famous 24hr endurance race.
The Scalextric car
The car is modeled on the No.90 Truxmore sponsored car raced at Le mans in 1976. Exclusively produced by Scalextric with a rear mounted side-winder motor as part of our NASCAR range. Crisp livery is a feature of this highly detailed car.
Advantages: The relatively large size of this 1/32nd scale car compared to other 1/32nd Scalextric cars belies its performance. The overall balance of this car gives it huge performance advantages making it very comparable in performance to smaller lighter cars. The racer is certainly not hindered by the car's weight due to its confidence inspiring ability to stay in the slot and lap a circuit at top speeds.
Features:
Rear mounted, side-winder motor. Superb livery quality. Quick change braid plate.
