How do I sign up to the Scalextric Reward Scheme?
You do not need to sign up separately in order to join the Scalextric Reward Scheme. Just set up an account on www.scalextric.com and you will automatically start to earn Reward and Status Points when you buy from the site.

How do I earn Reward Points?
Reward Points will be added to your account every time you buy from www.scalextric.com. Reward Points are earned at the rate of 5 per £1 spent for Standard Status members. Silver and Gold Status members earn Reward Points at the rate of 10 per £1 spent.
Where Reward Points are redeemed in part payment for a purchase, Points will be awarded for the cash balance only.
Points are awarded based on your membership status when the order is placed.

How do I earn Status Points?
Status Points are earned at the same rate as Reward Points. Status Points allow you to change your Membership Status.

How do I change Membership Status?
All memberships are Standard Status to begin with. As you earn Status Points, your membership status will change. When you have earned 1,500 Status Points you will become a Silver Status member and at 4,000 Status Points you will become a Gold Status member.
You can spend Reward Points that you earn in the Scalextric Shop without affecting your Status Points balance.
So long as you make any purchase from www.scalextric.com in a 12 month period, your Status Points will continue to accrue.
If you do not make any purchase within a 12 month period then your membership status will be reset to Standard, and your Status Points will be cancelled. Your Reward Points are not affected and you will still be able to spend these in the Scalextric Shop at the rate of 1p per point.
If you do not log into your account for three years then your Reward Points and Status Points will be written off and your membership status will be cancelled.

How do I use my Reward Points?
Your Reward Points can be spent at the checkout. You can choose to pay for your entire purchase in points or to pay partly in points and the balance with a payment card.

How do I check my Reward Points balance?
Your Reward Points and membership status is displayed in the My Account area and in the My Basket panel on the left-hand side of the page.

Do my Reward Points expire?
If you do not log into your account for three years then your Reward Points and Status Points will be written off and your membership status will be cancelled.

How long will it take for the Reward Points I earn to appear in my account?
Normally, your Reward Points will appear as soon as your payment is processed.

Can anyone else use my Reward Points?
No, your Reward Points can only be used from your account and cannot be transferred.

Can I exchange Reward Points for cash?
No, you can only use your Reward Points to save money on www.scalextric.com at 1p per point.

What happens to my Reward Points and Status Points if I return a product to the Scalextric Shop?
If you return a product that you earned Reward and Status Points on, those Points will be removed from your account.
If you paid for the product in part or in full with Reward Points then these points will be refunded to your account.

What if I live outside the UK?
We are happy to welcome overseas customers to the Scalextric Reward Scheme. Points are awarded in exactly the same way. Gold Status members will receive a discount to their Postage and Packing equivalent to the current UK P&P rate.

Can I earn points from purchases made before the Scalextric Reward Scheme began?
No, you cannot earn Reward or Status points on purchases made before the launch of the Scalextric Reward Scheme.
