Endurance Race:
Description: A race run over a long period limited by time or number of laps. Each car can be driven by an individual driver or shared by a team of drivers.
An example Endurance race format:
- Race four, or more, cars at once.
- Set race length for 100 laps or 10 minutes.
- The winning driver or team is first to completes 100 laps or record the most number of laps in 10 minutes.
Running an Endurance race:
- Set the cars on the Start Grid.
- Each team car should be easily identifiable by its driver or team members.
- Start the race.
- Pit Stops: To change driver (either at a pre-arranged time interval or number of laps) the car must be driven in to the Pit Lane. The next driver is handed the hand-controller by the leaving driver. Use the C7041 Digital Pit lane Game to make this aspect of racing even more exciting.
- Finish Race.
Endurance Races can also be used in Heats based Championship and used as along running Grand Prix set over several weeks as part of a league table.
