Swindon Slot Car Show, Sunday 6th January 2008 at the Oasis Leisure Centre, North Star Avenue, Swindon, SN2 1EP.
If collecting your facourite Scalextric cars is your thing or perhaps you just want to have a play on a giant Scalextric circuit then a 5 Minute Walk from Train and Bus Stations at Swindon will lead you to the Oasis Leisure Centre where you can find all things Scalextric on Sunday January 6th.
Open from 10:30 - 15:30, Entrance fee £2 adults, £1 children
40+ Dealer tables covering obsolete and current cars, spares, accessories, publications and lots more, Racing and demonstration circuits, Bar and cafe and Free on-site parking.
As well as the show, there are lots of other things to do - so why not bring the whole family and make a day of it! The Oasis is the main leisure centre in Swindon and has an excellent swimming pool as well as a variety of other sports on offer (badminton, snooker, squash, table tennis etc). The landscaped swimming pool is housed in a massive glass dome and has water slides, a wave machine and a pirate ship.
It's a great way of selling or swapping your spare cars and accessories.
