Scalextric World Championship 2011
And the winner is...
Norbert Ruby, 46, from Zisterdorf in Austria, proudly received the Scalextric World Championship 2011 trophy at a presentation at the Nuremberg Toy Fair in Germany. Claiming his prize wasn't exactly an easy ride, as Norbert had to travel to Germany to take part in the Championship last year and then again in 2012 to receive his unique personalised trophy.

On his way to Nuremberg his car broke down making the presentation an uncertainty, but Norbert's determination won through, as it did in the Championship races, and he arrived to take his place on podium.
Norbert enjoyed a personal tour of the Scalextric exhibition stand and an afternoon with Scalextric's Marketing Manager Paul Chandler, during which time many visitors and staff challenged Norbert to a race on the exhibition Scalextric circuit.
Norbert remains unbeaten!
