Holden L34 Torana 1976 Bathurst 1000
Product Code: C3214
History
This car is modelled on one of the most famous cars in the history of Australian touring car racing and the famous Bathurst 1000k race. This particular car was driven by Peter Brock and Philip Brock to third place in the 1976 race. Whilst Canadian Alan Moffat qualified his Ford XB Falcon on pole position, it was the Holden Torana L34 cars that dominated the 1976 Bathurst 1000. Moffat’s Falcon retired and the top positions went to the Holden marque
There were many famous drivers in the race. Unsurprisingly, most of the driver were Australian with only four drivers from overseas, among them Stirling Moss pairing up with Australian Jack Braham in another Torana. Of the 66 strong field no fewer than 15 were Holden Torana L34s!
