History
Nico Rosberg, drives for the Mercedes GP Formula One team under the German flag, although he competed for Finland earlier in his career. He holds dual nationality of these two countries.
Rosberg joined the re-branded Mercedes team for the 2010 season, a team formed by Mercedes' takeover of 2009 Constructors' Champions Brawn GP.
Rosberg had a positive season in 2010, having squeezed the best out of Mercedes' underperforming W01 challenger and finishing the season some 70 points ahead Michael Schumacher with three poduim finishes.
In 2011, Rosberg finished in the points fourteen times, ending the season 13 points ahead of team-mate and seven-times World Champion Schumacher.
