History
The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren first raced in the US SCCA competition in 2010 at the Speed World Challenge GT Championship with a 10th place finish in the first race at Road Atlanta.
TRG Motorsports and Circle B Motorcars of Texas ran the No.71 Circle B Motorcars Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 GT. It has a supercharged Mercedes V8 engine capable of producing 680hp, but the car ran in the World Challenge GT series with a restricted 550hp V8 developed by Ray Mallock Limited in England. The car was designed by RML, in accordance with McLaren Technology, and is a limited-edition racer, with only 20 in existence.

The Scalextric Model
The 722 GT has flared wheel arches, bigger vents, a re-profiled front grill area and a massive rear wing to enhance what is already a very powerful looking car.
Digital Plug Ready (DPR) - convert for use with the Scalextric Digital range in under sixty seconds using the C8515 Digital Plug. This model features front and rear lights and an in-line mid-mounted motor.
