History
When Guernseyman Andy Priaulx won his third consecutive FIA World Touring Car Championship in 2007, he confirmed his status as one of the UK's greatest ever racing drivers. A former test driver for BMW Williams F1 Team in 2005-6, Priaulx also won the last European Touring Car Championship in 2004.
Priaulx went into the final weekend of the 2007 season in Macau tied on points with his French rival, Yvan Muller. With Muller's Seat sidelined with a fuel pump failure, Priaulx's victory in the second race secured him the WTCC title once again.
