History
The 2001 JGTC season was opened with a race at the Circuit of Aida in Japan. The No. 22 Xanavi Hiroto GT-R R34, driven by Michael Krumm and Tetsuya Tanaka, finished in 4th. The No. 23 Pennzoil Zexel and No.12 Calsonic Skylines finished in 13th and 15th positions, respectively.
The R34 GT-R regained its crown as the 2003 JGTC champion in Japan's most intensely competitive series.
The Scalextric Model
The Xanavi/Hiroto sponsored car is the latest of four livery versions available in the Scalextric range over the past two years.
