History
This is McLaren's own test car which was presented early in 2011 for press launch activities. McLaren then took the number 59 car to Belgium for the Spa 24 official test, part of the Blancpain race series. The car then competed in further Blancpain heats throughout 2011 developing its race set up for their 2012 campaign.
