Scalextric Joins Forces with Star Wars™
Scalextric is proud to announce a three-year global licensing partnership with Star Wars™, the most successful film series of all time, with a range of brand new products on sale early 2012. The brand new products will be unveiled at the London Toy Fair in January, when show visitors will be able to get the first look at how they will build their own collection from Micro and Start sets, as well as highly detailed, collectable solo models.
With Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace being released in 3D this February, the collaboration with Scalextric will add to an already exciting year for fans of both brands. Famous characters and iconic vehicles will be faithfully reproduced in precise detail, allowing fans to recreate the thrills of intergalactic racing. Scalextric enthusiasts will be able to pit their skills against each other and experience the world of Star Wars™ in a revolutionary new way. With different sets for different age groups; from five years old to adult, these products are expected to fly off the shelves.
