Extending your Scalextric track layout has never been easier. The four Scalextric Track Extension Packs are totally flexible in their design. ANY of these packs can be added to ANY Scalextric circuit.
Each pack can be incorporated into any Scalextric circuit, from simple ovals and figure-of-eight tracks to the largest layouts.
ALL Track Extension Packs are fully compatible with standard AND Digital layouts.
Requires C8525 Scalextric Start Converter Track Pack for use with Scalextric Start sets.
One or more Track Extension Packs can be added to the same circuit at the same time. In fact, ALL the Track Extension Packs can be added to any layout to make a hugely impressive circuit incorporating all the feature track pieces.

Safety Notice:
This product is not suitable for children under 3 years because of small parts which could present a choking hazard. Some components have functional sharp edges. Handle with care. This product is intended for indoor use only. The transformer is not a toy- "it's a transformer for toys." Before use, check that the transformer is the correct voltage for your mains electricity supply. Only use this product with the recommended transformer. The transformer should be examined regularly for damage to the casing, plug pins and cable. In the event of such damage, the set/accessory should not be used until the transformer is replaced with a new Hornby recommended unit. This set/accessory must not be connected to more than the recommended number of power supplies. The output terminals of the transformer must not be connected directly, or indirectly , to the output of any other AC circuit derived from a transformer or mains power supply. Never attempt to open the transformer yourself. Before cleaning any parts, disconnect the transformer from the mains supply. Do not use liquid for cleaning. Colours and content may vary from those illustrated. Made in China. Retain the details, and the address, for further reference.
Suitable to extend Scalextric Start sets with the addition of 2 x C8525 Convertor track pieces.
Additional Scalextric track pieces are required as per your specific track plan.
Some useful information:
All Scalextric layouts can be extended by using:
- Track Extension Packs.
- Another Scalextric set or sets
- The older pre 1999 Scalextric track, now known as Classic track, with the aid of converter track pieces. See C8222.
- Current track pieces available as separate items in retail and hobby shops.
- All track made by Hornby Hobbies Ltd and branded Scalextric, Scalextric Digital, Scalextric Sport are identical and can be used on any circuit.
Notes: - Special track pieces such as Scalextric Digital Lane Change pieces should not be used on standard Scalextric track layouts using a C8217 & C8241 power base.
- Scalextric Digital track pieces such as the Lap Counter and Pit Lane Game will not function in a standard Scalextric layout.
- Only ONE power base should be used on ANY Scalextric track.
