History:
The BMW Mini Cooper S is a popular race car worldwide. Many Mini Cooper series are held in many countries including New Zealand. We have chosen to model a Scalextric sponsored car running in the Mini Challenge series. The series in New Zealand features seven major national meetings and a total of 20 races on the country's permanent race circuits including the A1 Grand Prix in Taupo. Our Mini is driven by Gavin Dawson who even arranged for the race number 50 to be used on his car to commemorate our 50th anniversary.
