History
Ferruccio Lamborghini, born under the zodiac sign of Taurus, founded the famous super car company and gave it the symbol of the fighting bull. Later, when the Miura was introduced, he named the car after a famous breed of fighting bull, and this practice became a tradition for the House of the Bull. Honouring this tradition, Lamborghini have baptized their latest model with the name of a fighting bull breed: the Gallardo (pron.: ga:yàrdo).
The Gallardo has a structural aluminium spaceframe, the body is also made of aluminium. The four-wheel drive chassis has aluminium double wishbones front and rear, anti-roll bar, anti-dive and anti-squat. Electronics play an important part in the car with a full ESP system with ABS, ASR and ABD and an electronically controlled rear spoiler. Top speed is 315 km/h / 196 mp/h with acceleration of 0-100 km/h in 3.95 sec.

The car modeled in an attractive golden metallic yellow forms part of our ‘Super-Resistant’ range. It has a light and very strong one piece body. Ideal for use by novice and club racer.
