Adding a Pit Lane Game and Lap Counter in to a standard Digital layout

How to build a Digital Pit Lane Game in to a Digital circuit.

In this suggestion, it is shown how to incorporate the C7041 Digital Pit Lane Game and a C7039 Digital Lap Counter in to an extended figure '8' layout.
C1201, C1202 & C1222 are typical direct examples. However, most Digital sets can be converted in exactly the same way. Simply study the pictures and components required below.

Downloading the Track Designer software will also help with designing alternative circuits to incorporate the Pit Lane Game and Lap Counter.

Using a Pit Lane Game and Lap Counter creates game play to enable a very exciting racing game that will encourage you to race like the professionals with pit stops that need to be made in order to complete the race before the laps run out. Making a pit stop under Red (Pit Lane Closed) will incur an additional pit stop penalty. Get your pit stops done under Green (Pit Lane Open) and your are on your way to the finishing flag - but can you beat your opponents?

Including a lap Counter is also very straight forward:
