Matt1981g
With only 3 months until the supposed release date of the ARC Pro set when will we see the full range of features and spec? I am holding off buying the 6 lane powerbase and USB lead as ARC looks like it was designed in this century apoosed to the current 6 lane that looks like it should be part of a 1980's scalextric set! COME ON HORNBY/SCALEXTRIC give us some news!!!Surely with 3 months till the launch date it must be in manufacture ?
Andy P.
The only main difference between AIR and PRO is the ability to switch lanes, up to 6 cars, KERS and a few play modes.I had found a site comparing the sets but can't seem to find it now... Andy P.
What do you mean? You can race digital cars on AIR in analog mode. So in that sense they are "compatible".The only difference is like I said above, lane changing etc. et.c-

Edit: As for a release date for Arc Pro I don't think there is one although a recent post on the forum confirms they are still working on it and details will be released when they are ready. Andy P. Blagard
Sorry Andy,Its clear enough to meAir is not Digital compatibleThe OP's point is he wants ARC Pro (Digital) and you responded by comparing it to an analogue set. He specifically would like ARC Pro because it is Digital. - I think he may be in for a long wait though.Your point that a digital car will run on an analogur track is Mute. Read the first post again.
