Many congratulations to Chadow, who has been selected as the winner of the Scalextric Forum Christmas Competition for 2019!

Every year, we have the family race day in memory of my late brother who was an even bigger Scalextric addict than me. All family members take part and the RAD Memorial raceday is a big event and goes on long in to the night. Fun, laughter, huge smiles and outrageous cheating and very fond memories.

It was another tough year to pick a winner and we’d like to thank everyone who entered and shared their special memories.

There isn’t long now till the big day but do keep checking back with our Advent Calendar as we count down to the 25th.

From everyone here at Scalextric, Merry Christmas and we hope you have a fantastic New Year!

Many congratulations to Philip Creasey, who has been selected as the winner of the Airfix Forum Christmas Competition for 2019!

The Airfix range has something for all ages; boys & girls. The aeroplanes from WWII which my late father and grandfather knew all about - brought back memories of the War and 'we had nowt like you young 'uns do now'.

Airfix is part of our history and culture. My 3 year old grandaughter has her first kit; a 'Quick Build' Typhoon under the tree.

Many congratulations to LC&DR, who has been selected as the winner of the Hornby Forum Christmas Competition for 2019!

Every Christmas is special. When I was a child my father added to my train set every year, when my children were growing up they too received new trains every Christmas, and now my grand children get new stuff for their train sets. The excitement of seeing a red and yellow box emerging from the wrapping paper on Christmas morning still holds a particular magic for me.

Please keep posts on topic - we're discussing how to straighten tank tracks and I'd rather avoid an argument on spares and returns policies.
