I having the same problem.  I have ARC One.  Is there no jump start or reaction time?  The finish does work.  That’s it.

@Poppa Wheely

Why aren't all of the new releases dpr.  The jaguars and Corvette and even the p4's are a pain to chip.  I thought the purpose of retooling was to upgrade. They are the same as the old ones.

Yes, it would be nice to get more of the super resistant cars in DPR.  The kids want on my digital track (with lane changing) but I have limited them to my resistant collection as I got tired of glueing parts back on and watching my $$ spend on cars fly off the table...

Is it just me or would anyone else like to see cars with modern day lighting (A-Pillar, position number, etc.).  I'd love to see some of them lit up like they are at night in IMSA and WEC.

I've used RailModeller.  Not perfect, but it runs on Mac which I needed.  I used it for railroad and just happened to see it had Slot Car.  Most all the Scalextric track sections are there to work with.

Enjoy!

Its Here! Its Here!

After years of talk and nearly 11 months of pre-order, my ARC Pro base arrived.  I quickly powered it up on my track and was racing!

In the limited testing I've done, it seems great.  I did need to clean my track as it was very stuttery (in digital - analog not so much) but we've always known that digital is very sensitive to dirty track ;)  A quick wipe with INOX and we're good.

Had a quick race with my boy.  Lots to try, and I'm sure the 3rd party possibilities on the software/RMS side have yet to even be explored but I think I like it.

My PB upgrade preorder is already on its way!  Excited to add it to my track.  Will report back soon!

Somehow a few weeks back I got a peek at the ArcPro user manual online.  Now, I have not been able to find it since so I'm guessing it was a bit of a mistake that it was visible?  Still, I'm wondering about pit lane on my digital track.  I recall reading that the ArcPro should be placed after or before pit lane as a pit stop would not be able to register a lap (if the car did not pass over the PB/start finish).  Seems like a short comming for something that should really just be a software setting.  Any news?  Do I need to start reworking a new track plan?

Speaking of software, I am truly excited about using my iPad and a much easier interface than the 3rd party software solutions I have with my 7042.  While I don't think I'll need them, do we know if the developers are planning to update their software to work with the new ArcPro wither with USB or BT connection?

Looking forward to the Ford GT GTE 2016 cars! (and, of course, ARC Pro ;)

So, I'm guessing ARC Pro is not going to be under the tree this year.  I have been limping along with the 7042 and a number of third party software solutions.  The relay between the APB, Laptop, via serial adapted to USB Judi is not ideal.  Throttle is sluggish and I have had find a system I could run lower versions on Windows just to keep software and USB adapter working.  I will keep experimenting but I really want the newer tech to become avaiable soon.

And slightly off topic, but for those of us that love digital I am still waiting for a digital chip that can handle higher rpm motors.  PCR was a nice idea but as soon as I place a faster motor I have no supported digital option?

I enjoy seeing the new cars and sets, but what I am most anticipating is more digital solutions.

Is there a club option for US?  If we do digital, will the voucher work in USD on the Hornby US side of the site?
