Believe you should substitute there are sensors at the beginning and end of the powerbase, instead of "pitlane" of first sentance of first answer.

Check out the arc air guide pdf pg 10 about pitlanes.

Real problem is scaly has used "pitlane" to mean 3 different things in digital.

This really means there is no need to buy something not needed or manufactured to operate their stock unmodified arc pro system.

gorp tried to word the warning to others nicely

Speaking of any set new or old, the only value to me is the 4 wheeled toys included,

like batteries for a free flashlight.

Wondering if with a new limited model would justify saving money by using the high speed only bike motor.

Scalextric already uses it in all their f1s, vintage and modern.

This is being done for sports cars by mrrc, carrera, monogram, and others.

Here mirrors seldom fall off perhaps due to choice of toy models, such as avoiding all fragile vintage f1s.

Normally remove and save all wings because believe they do not help slot downforce, they hurt if you are hit by them,  and they can be added back on if toy sold.

Has scaly ever said which motor (standard or bike) will be installed inline in this toy when it arrives ?

Though should suggest to the nondigital user that my rule #1 is never buy a used chip.

Takes too long and cash to figure out if used still works when soldered and even dpr has unknowns.

Can not figure out how repairing chips really saves time or money.

Rubber turns hard and silicone melts flat.

Always store cars here upside down,  outside of plastic case and those in case loosened so they hang without touching the plastic base.

Free tires are stored off their rolling surface and will last decades usually, but there is no way to know what pair will change after a decade due to atmosphere and material used (it is not rocket science).

Track surface chemicals will affect tires so only clean them with spit and duct tape.

Change is inevitable, nothing lasts forever.

When working on the glad project, both slotit and scaly design told me to use the slotit chip due to its sturdyness.

When checking the fuse failure rate following suggestion from scorpus to use them for analog glad, found that scaly chip was safe at about 1/2 amp and slotit at over 1.

The actual figures were given during glad development on sci forum, which may be in their years ago vault now,  but may have copy printed here somewhere.

If you are discussing the wire from the guide to the chip then you should know which side lead wire goes to.

If from chip to motor then wrong way will make digital toy back up.
