Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500 - James Hardie 1000, Bathurst 1988
The 1988 Bathurst 1000 was a memorable race for many reasons. Not least was the outstanding performance of Klaus Niedzwiedz to put the ANZ Sierra on top in the Toohey’s Dozen run off, ahead of the favourite and eventual racer winner Tony Longhurst. Sadly, the number 9 Sierra failed to finish the race, but the pace of the shootout lap, with the Sierra spitting flames across the top of the mountain as it danced down past skyline lives on.

Allan Moffat Sierra
I bought this one a while ago. As with the Benson & Hedges one I bought , this performs brilliantly on the track. It's very quick and handles very well. It is not the most outstanding livery but it still looks good and is great to race. The aerial on the roof is very delicate so as with all the modern highly detailed cars, they are not suitable for children or those with little respect for other's property.
