SPlans for new Digital track pieces?

It seems to me that Scalextric are not committed to digital insofar as there is, compared to other manufacturers, a limited choice of digital track......

Why?

How about - just 3 examples :

XCLC - 2 way corner cross over

2 lane pit entry - allowing pit entry from either lane

Racing line chicane - being 45L+45Rc/wLC  OR   45R+45Lc/wLC

Any chance of Scalextric making them or do we have to continue to make our own?

xclc is probably possible but doubt will see

2 lane pit entry is straight dual changer followed by pitlane

believe real problem for racing is having both lanes of powerbase track as pit and lap counter

racing lane chicane sounds like squeeze track which actually works with tight r1s

but more would increase accidents and slow down racing so all tracks seen in last 20 years removed them

suggested months ago

for 3rd lane track building need short single lanes but can always cut them

am wrong about powerbase track used as lap counter and pits

regular pitlanes are suggested per setup guide since pitting can be done anywhere

actually great solution for the problem

Re Entry to pit from either lane - NOT XLC followed by pit as that requires 2 presses of the button

A LH pit accessed from the RH lane as well as the LH lane  with a single button press and just the one sensor in each lane would be far more useable for example.

regarding racing line chicane LC - it's NOT like squeeze track - you can make them by taking 2 CLCs, LH In[Out and RH Out/IN cutting them in half and join the 1st half of LH IN to 2nd half RH In   this then provides a piecewhere one might 'straight line' a left right chicane and change lanes at the same time.

do you need a pair of these to align track ?

I just think they're 'fun'

Don't you?

more interested in how you hold scaly track together

appears to be stiched and then glued

stich 'welded' by melting with the tip of a soldering iron then hot glue or epoxy

saw discussion recently that neither glue nor epoxy will work on sport track

so is it just to hold stiches in place ?
