Hi Paul,

I assembled and painted them myself from alloy hubs, inserts and tyres I bought from Pendles slot racing.

They are Pendles vintage wheels. They do look good and the car performs very well on my track.

Cheers.

Lovely build Paul. Here's my kit conversion to a slot car.

Whoops, better late than never! 4 lane routed track, not 3! We also have a new single lane rally track.

All welcome.

@Otaku Scalextric

Good luck with your search for a new venue.

I am in the Navy and often find myself in Plymouth. I will watch this space for the address of your new venue and I will pay you a visit.

All the best and good luck.

@Administrator

My wife bought me my first Scalextric set in 1993, I was in my mid twenties. It was the Jaguar Challenge set, C707. What a Christmas, two of my mates bought sets and every other Thursday, would meet up, combine our tracks and race our cars. I'd wanted a Scalextric set when I was younger, well Christmas 1993 made me feel like a kid again, thanks to my wife. My love for Scalextrics is still strong now, when I'm in my mid forties. I even build my own cars now and have a full Scalextric track, with scenery in my Garage (12' x 6'). Cheers, Brian
