Yes exactly what I was mentioning.

Thank you for looking into it!

Hi There,

Minor comment here. For a few weeks the latest threads have not been updating on the front page for me.

I am using WIn7 and latest Firefox.

Again, not a big issue, just something I noticed...

Hi Sven,

There are several powerbases and several power cables (adapters). There is usually a part number on them, usually starting with C. Can you post which ones you have?

Regards

Andy

I won a set of these with full instructions. I will scan and update this weekend...

" How often do you find that when one car crashes the other also comes off?"

Yes indeed. But I thought that was the whole point of the 16V/16V switch. Your idea though of having the drivers farther apart is a good one.

Once I get some time I may dig out the Pacer as well.

BTW: Did you go to Gaydon this year? Did they mention whether AIR will be out this year? I saw on Facebook that PRO won't be til next year.

I tend to agree Peter. Sometimes you can make things fit in real life that don't quite match on the computer. Especially if you mix brands/types. For example there were 2 different lengths of the "standard" straight in the Scaley Classic and it is about 1 cm longer or shorter (I can't look right now)...

I saw a video from the Gaydon Slot Car fest alst year (I believe) and there was a guy who had print outs of the track peices (looked to be about 1/72 of the track size) and you could push them about.

I forgot the name though....

I saw this somewhere eklse but your descrption is much better!

Question: Are you saying you should use 2 separate SPORT power bases in addition to the ARC ONE base?

Is plugging 2 controllers and 2 Mains adapters using the 16v/16V setting not the same?

Another question: I have a PACER computer. Could it be used insteaad of the SPORT power bases so I could race a Ghost car?

Since we are still waiting on ARC AIR (haven't heard any annoucments from Gaydon)  I am thinking of splurging on ARC ONE to tide me over.

Hi R-Gordon,

When you say "converters" do you mean the convert from Scalex Classic (old style with 2 "spoons/loops" on one side) to Scaley Sport (modern with 1 round peg and 1 square peg)?

If so you are mixing old and new track which could be an issue.

Check out the other thread about conductivity for tips.

Let me know if that helps.
