Put another magnet on top of the existing magnet (inside the chassis)

Radius 1 will fit inside Radius 2, which will fit inside R3, which will sit inside R4

If you bought an Arc One set, its almost certainly all Radius 2.

Radius 2 comes in a "normal", which is 45deg, but is also available as a half piece 22.5deg, and a 90deg.  4 normal R2's will make a 180deg turn, width of that turn outside edge to outside edge will be 74cm

Radius 1, 4 pieces to make 180deg = 43cm across (also available are half r1 pieces, looks like a segment of pie)

Radius 2, 4 pieces to make 180deg = 74cm across

Radius 3, 8 pieces to make 180deg = 105cm across

Radius 4, 8 pieces to make 180deg = 136cm across

This could probably be unpinned now that Pro is out :)

Drill a hole through the trigger and fit a bolt.  Also easily removed for adult play or as he gets older.

At the moment, no, pace car (only 1 pace car) doesn't pit.  Actually, i dont think any of the "race" features work during pace car mode.  But, this should be an easy enough app upgrade in future.

I've got my lad, 8, for our first Christmas week together.

On his previous visit, i asked him what he was looking forward to the most about Christmas?  "Being with you, dad" was his immediate reply.

During that same weekend, he asked when we might be able to get some new Scalextric cars.  I said we'll just have to wait and see won't we.  His reply?  "You never know, maybe Santa will bring some!"

Roll up, roll up! Tin Foil hats, get your tin foil hats here, 2 for the price of one...

Gorp - there are plenty of hobbyists that come from technical backgrounds, that want to apply knowledge, sense and understanding to further enhance the experience.

I have a tree in my garden, that i occasionally trim back. That does not make me an arborist.

Can you isolate it down to an individual track piece, and try swapping that piece into a different section of the track, see if the fault follows?

If you're in australia, get some inox mx3 to clean the lanes instead of wd40

After making snips to the ribbon to isolate, and creating a gap in the lane, couldnt you just run taps across? from the tabs on the outer lane to the tabs on the now separated and unpowered middle bit?

Actually, couldnt you get away with one wire, from the inner curve of the outer lane, to the inner curve of the middle lane.  the outer curve of the middle lane would surely get connected by the next scalextric piece?

Maybe a top down pic, with arrows pointing to what is bridging to what would be really helpful.

Well done on this :)
