Many thanks Woodcote - it does have one on the motor end, as you rightly say.

ok ..... I have a factory digital Audi TT car (Not DPR with a plug)  and it does not have the little orange & black bit inside the car just before the guide.

I have 2 wires coming from the chip and 2 bits of wire on the blade.

So my question is - what does the little orange bit do and can i just solder the wires together without it in place (I assume not).

Also can that bit be bought or is it not worth the price/effort - i cannot see anything on fleabay.

Thanks

@woodcote

Thanks Woodcote,

I was hoping more along the lines of UK road cars of the time which were used for racing - so more Ford (UK), BL, Vauxhall etc. rather than American cars.

More like cars my dad told me about Laughing (believe that and you will believe anything)

Not looking too hopeful but I will have a look at Pendle site.

Thanks again

Hi all,

I have recently purchased a MK1 Escort and a MK1 Cortina - both DPR cars so I can easily convert them to digital.

I would like to add to these with other cars of that era (60's/70's) but not sure what is/was available.

I have seen an MGB advertised but thats it.

Can anyone advise me ?

Thanks

To answer your last question .....

Yes - you can use as many of the straight lane change tracks (C7036) as you want.

Hi - I uploaded some pictures yesterday but being Sunday they wont appear yet. Check back later today and hopefully they will be here.

Hi - respect for getting control of your life.

Anyway, I did design a couple of tracks that fit on my spare room bed - albeit a king size bed. As you can see for the raised track there is space either side so it might fit on a normal double. The flat track might be a bit tight on a double.

@woodcote

Hi Barry. If it helps, that's the SL33 layout. Google Images brings up a couple of pics that give the layout plan. I have to say that I am more than a little alarmed by the double C8210 crossovers!

Thanks Woodcote, thats brilliant.

I was soooo close but about 1" out on the final connection so had a couple of bends mixed up and no matter how much I swapped various sections around it just would not link up.

Sorted now thanks.

I agree about the crossroad sections but will see how it goes. There is enough track to make a new layout if it becomes a problem.

BTW....

The previous owner does not have a plan and unfortunately had disassembled before I arrived to collect.

I have scoured Jadlam's website and ebay sales but it appears they no longer sell this setup.

I have recently purchased a secondhand complete digital layout which was first bought from Jadlam.

I am struggling to reassemble as its quite complex with different curved track parts.

When the image appears if anyone else has this setup and has a build plan it would be a great help. I know its a long shot but worth a try.

BTW - I have sent a message to Jadlam but no reply yet, although I am sure they are busy with Black Friday.

Thanks.
